In this 1st Year Games Design module students are asked to develop a complete, narrative-driven PC game that is a single scene lasting no more than 10 minutes. Below are three examples of work based on this brief.
Live With Us (2018)
In Live With Us, the player is guided by a character’s voice as they take part in a simulation. For the duration of the simulation, they’re led to believe they’re in surgery and have to make a decision to return to their bodies or die.

Tether (2018)
Connor, is having a seemingly normal work day at his office. On the way home, he is thrown into a loop that he cannot escape. Players must interact with the environment to learn more of Connor's past and navigate their way out.

Countryside (2017)
The game takes place on a sleepy country side road in Co. Wicklow. You, the player, is taken in by a local after your truck breaks down on a silent stretch. You find out that thing are not as they seem.
