Is there a musical memory from childhood, which has stuck with you throughout life? A lasting vivid imprint?

Hosny, you play the oud, a traditional Middle Eastern guitar. So often in history, many cultural instruments end up being forgotten or labelled “too traditional”, “not cool enough”. How does it make you feel bringing a new sound to this instrument?
