We have been collecting the sounds of woodlands and forests from all around the world, creating a growing soundmap bringing together aural tones and textures from the world’s woodlands.

Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our 2020 edition of Timber Festival. Instead we asked our audience to go out into nature (when they could) and record 1 minute of audio. From over 1000 submissions so far, our soundmap doubles as on open resource for all to use.
