In the archeological museum there are two important and interesting sculptures: Isis and Osiris,two egyptian gods discovered in Fiesole in 1883.

The sculptures were discovered on the south side of the hill, below the San Francisco convent. Possibly, the sanctuary of Isis and Osiris was located here in Roman age.

Isis of Taposiris
The goddess has been depicted sitting on a throne with the left leg layed and raised on a rock: her head, perhaps veiled, is lacking.

The left hand of the Goddess hold a little pot for the tears.

While with the right hand hold a flower, perhaps an absinthium marinum

On the front side of the base of the statue there is an inscription, a dedication to Isis by Gargennius Maximus, veteran, in the name of his brother, Gargennius maximus, also a veteran.

Likewise, on the front side of Osiris statue base there is a dedication by Gargennius Maximus, veteran, in the name of his brother, Gargennius maximus, veteran
