Siam Square Zone: The progressive culture of new generation

Siam Square Zone is the biggest zone in Chula Art Town with more than 20 works of arts installed. The Lido Connect building is also situated in this zone. When you walk in from Phayathai Road entrance, you will see the painting titled "Ice Cream" by BigDel.

As you walk a few minutes towards the Chulalongkorn University Book Center, you will see a colorful painting of contemporary lifestyle from artist "An Officer Dies", called "Happy Social Social Club" on your left.

Just a few steps from "Happy Social Club”, you will see one of the most iconic Thai street artworks from Benzilla, called "More fresh air"

After that, just cross the road towards Chulalongkorn University Book Center, you will be greeted by the lovely blue dog and its wagging tail. The artist "Goh M" had expressed his personal bonding with his dog in the form of a cartoon character "Dog is Blue".

Then walking past Chulalongkorn University Book Center, you will see the 3D street painting on the footpath. The artwork is known as "Space Invaders”, created by "Imimagemonster"

Then walk across the road toward Rama I Road and you will find an unusual art installation of colourful poles on the cross-walks of two main roads in Siam Square. This Fine Arts Volunteer Project by students creates a colorful Siam Square in “Chula Art Town”

Next from the poles, you will see the artwork of Kanaet, titled Zebra. The colorful artwork which function as chairs was inspired by Piet Mondrian and Ole Kirk Christiansen.

The next artwork is found between two main roads in the Siam Square Zone, titled "Stereo Active" created by Floyd. Across the road is the artwork "HELP ME DENTIST! No.1"

Then if you are walking towards Rama I Road, before exiting the Siam Square Zone on the left, you will meet "Nong Mardi" a well-known character playing with communication wiring, created Alex Face,

Continue walking along Rama I Road towards Henri Dunant Road to the next small soi on the right where there are two artworks. The first one from Gobland artist, titled "10 o’clock, same place, same time" which implies Siam Square as the popular rendezvous point.

The second painting is the collaboration work of Suzin & Abi Original, titled "Three types of Siamese mushrooms to save the world". The artist's uses the metaphor of mushrooms as the seeds of hope for a sustainable world.

Continue walking along the small soi, until you pass the exit to Henri Dunant Road. Here, a painting titled "Star Wall" created by Dea One, communicates the nature of a mixed culture society by combining well-known Thai and Western characters together.

A few steps from "Siam Smile”, you will see the long wall of the Faculty of Dentistry, with a painting that leads you back to the Chulalongkorn University Book Center, starting with the work of Abi Original, which emphasizes the significance of oral and dental health.

After walking along the wall of the Faculty of Dentistry filled with a series of paintings created by participanting students, you will see "HELP ME, DENTIST! No.1" and "HELP ME, DENTIST! No.2" a co-creation by Phai Tanasan & Nachanok Sirimei.

"HELP ME, DENTIST! No.2" communicates toothache and help from the dentist, related to the wall of the Faculty of Dentistry.

A few steps further from "HELP ME, DENTIST! No.2”, you will see the artwork "David and Dragon in Dental Clinic" by Narrate Jung, connecting the image of David and the context of the surrounding area.
