Enrique Macana is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His father was a chef and his mother, a piano teacher who introduced him to the diverse world of culture.

He discovered the magic of tango at thirteen when, on his way back from a football game, he was drawn to a nearby tango house by its music.

He has travelled to Paris, Milan, Vegas, etc. performing the tango and giving lessons. While in Dubai, he felt compelled to find a place for Argentina in this melting pot of cultures.
Here, he found his true calling as an ambassador of his twin passion – tango and Argentinian cuisine.

Authentic Wood Fire Grilling
At La Casa Del Tango, Enrique treats guests to the Asado style of grilling, the way his father used to. The bespoke ‘domo’ used for slow-cooking with wood fire is the first of its kind in the Middle East.
Besides its authentic cuisine, the unique venue is known for its live dance performances and lessons.
