Yucatan 100%
The whole menu is Yucatan cuisine. There is no other dish that is not from the region.
The Yucatan culinary tradition is present in the preparation of the food.
Extensive and diverse menu
If something distinguishes the Yucatan food it is the variety of its dishes. To do justice to the diversity of the cuisine, Coox Hanal offers all the antojitos (street food) of this rich gastronomy.

Salbut (handheld tortillas)
This antojito (street food) is a freshly made corn tortilla. It contains lettuce, avocado, tomato, cucumber and turkey.
Cochinita pibil (slow-roasted pork) is buried pork. In fact the word pib means buried and formerly the cochinita (slow-roasted pork) was prepared in a hole. The meat is seasoned with achiote (annatto). After cooking it is served in tacos from freshly made tortillas.
