The Origin 

From the Nahuatl "tlahco", which means "half or in the middle", the taco is one of the typical dishes of Mexican cuisine that falls in love with those who have tasted it. 

It is documented that the first taquiza was in the times of the conquest, organized by Hernán Cortés.
