1947 Pakistan: the Partition in Photographs
In 1947, over 15 million people were displaced as part of the Partition of the Indian subcontinent. This exhibit shows fascinating, and often shocking, photographs from the time, taken by the only known local Pakistani photographer, F.E. Chaudhry. The images show scenes of the migration and the conditions of the refugee camps along the way.
