Medieval Art

The Middle Ages lasted from the 5th century to the 15th century. It was a time of war, depopulation, disease, and movement of people. These events eventually led to different cultural advances. Pots, paintings, and dances are just a few examples.

War happened a lot during the Middle Ages. They just were greedy and they couldn't make friends with each other. I am glad we finally understand mutually assured destruction today
I'm sure god was a big thing in the Middle Ages. I think art in the medieval ages was mostly depicting war, famine, and disease. I haven't seen any "happy paintings"
This is a scene depicting plague. If I was there I would've thought it was wrath from god, not a disease.
