In the image, there is a blind man depicted walking over the gruesome and terrible results of the second world war. There are many dead bodies on the ground that appear to be mutilated and starved. There are many people behind the blind man who are horrified at what they are witnessing. This image concerns my topic because it directly shows the treatment the dead received before they were unfortunately killed. Under the topic of inhumanity it is clear that the people were starved and deprived of everything they needed to live. No human should ever have to go through what the people during this time of tragedy. This directly connects to "Night" because it shows the treatment he received in the camp in Buna. When Elie says that he say a corpse staring back at him in the mirror as a result of his cruel treatment, this picture shows the accuracy of his remark.
