Angkor Wat by Leonardo Ugolini This is a sand sculpture, the sand used is a natural sand color. The building that this sculpture is based off of is a Hindu Temple complex built during the first half of the 12th century. Later it was altered and used as a Buddhist Temple. It was built using sand that was damp and then the artist shaped it. The details on this sculpture, when compared to the original building, are accurate.
