This is a photograph of an old ally, narrow and dirty. When looking closely, you can note someone leaning out of a doorway. Again, the artist uses color and texture with a grainy texture depicting old and dirty along with the dull hues, avoiding any emphasis. The design remains balanced but there is some emphasis at the end of the ally, drawing the eyes to want to see what is beyond the ally. It is easy to overlook the person in the doorway. The image is quiet and the person must be ignored as the viewer longs to reach the end of the ally, overlooking the person looking out the door, wanting to be seen and heard.
