The art holy war
The major prohibition when it came to Islamic art is that the Islamic faith does not allow the human form to be portrayed in pictures because they consider it a sin against god.
Often times what Islamic art did use for religious significance was patterns or calligraphy to express their views.
Most luxury Islamic art would be made out of some form of precious metal most likely ivory and if it was not of religious importance may have some illustration of animals.
