Art: now vs then
This is the Jade Cabbage in the National Taiwan Museum. Take a look at it.
Now take a look at this. It's a vegetable seller. How does it relate to the jade cabbage?
This is the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. It's one of the seven wonders of the world. It's definitely a great piece of art by the Egyptians.
But how about this pyramid. It looks like a pyramid by a kid. But is it art? Of course!
This is a modern building. Some people may find it distracting and useless. But if you time travel back in time....
It could use to be this. Art? Yes to me!
This cloth to me looks very native American like. But to you or others, it could be a total different culture.
A cloth with words on it can have no relation to a cabbage. But this cloth and the jade cabbage, have probably one of the biggest connection in this gallery. It's both from China.
