renaissance Art

The birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli grabed my attention because this paintings showed me a different aspect of life with venus and nature. This painting is Renaissace because they are fully clothed and nude, nature, and there are light colors.
The Mounted Warrior by Leonardo da Vinci grabbed my attention because the large statue was perfectly balanced on the hind legs of the horse. This statue is Classical because it is nude, the warrior has a fit body and it is life like.
The Torment of Saint Antony by Michelangelo Buonarroti grabbed my attention because of the monsters attacking Saint Anthony and as I read the details he painted this picture when he was 12 or 13 years old. This painting is Renaissance because there is nature, fully clothed, and it is non religious.
The Alba Madonna by Raphael captured my attention because it looked like a normal day for any person and how the painting was in a circle. This painting is Renaissance because there is nature, the people are nude or clothed, and there is emotion.
