Renaissance Perspective

This Renaissance Perspective gallery includes works by artist of the 14th to 17th century. This was a time when artist began to explore new humanist ideas, following the middle ages. They also began to use perspective. The artist were able to represent a three-dimensional object on a two-dimensional surface.                                                 With perspective Artist were able to draw realistically. This type of work became known as realism. Through out the different pieces you can see the dimensions and value incorporated.
