My Art Project is based on Georgia O'Keeffe. She is known for her outstanding artwork that is simple, bold, and distinct. All of her artwork is based upon American Modernism, which is city landscapes, flowers, and bones in the desert.

Two Pink Shells is a oil painting of seashells off the coast of New York. I chose this picture because I love the beach and like to hunt for seashells that are different then most.
Mules Skull with pink Poinsetta is an oil painting on canvas. I chose this picture because it shows the beauty of New Mexico, which was where O'keeffe visited quite often.
Church Steeple is an oil painting on canvas taken place at a church in New Mexico. I chose this picture because it shows that O'Keeffe still had christ in her life even in New Mexico.
This painting is one of O'Keeffe's most recognized artworks. I chose this painting because of how bold and simple it portrays itself. It also looks as if there are bullet holes in the skull.
This is an oil painting by O'keeffe of a Strelitzia Nicolia. I chose this painting because there are many of these flowers in south florida around Lake Okachobee, whcih I have always was to fish.
This is an oil painting taking place on a New York night. I chose this painting because of how its the totally opposite of the majority of O'Keeffe's paintings, which take place in wildlife.
This painting is one of O'Keeffe's works from the beginning of her career. I chose this painting because of how outstanding and hard to visualize what the title explains it as.
This in another painting of O'keeffes taking place in New York. I chose this painting because it resembles "City Night", but during the day.
