I liked how this panting depicts the innocence of the child holding the glass of wine and looking toward us with a mocking smile like pointing out the wine that inspires the musicians playing.
In this particular one I liked the way he controlled the light, how the shadows are presented in in the woman and in the grass. I also liked the perspective of the child a little far behind her.
I chose this one because I saw it first on the MFA. I like how Monet presents a normal day in the street with a contrasting palette of colors, showing the beautiful architecture of the time.
In this particular one, the way how he used the colors and the clothing showing some kind of mosaic form really caught my attention.
This particular one it's very interesting showing a musician working on his composition. The way he is looking out the window really caught my attention because I felt kind of identified with it.
