The Han Dynasty existed between 206 BCE to 220 CE. Those years became the Golden Age. Much of Chinese culture was established was established at this time. Peace and prosperity fled throughout China. A well organized government of well educated men ruled. Advances in mathematics, medicine, architecture, literature, agriculture, engineering and astronomy occurred. Along with advances came the invention of paper, iron casting, the wheelbarrow and crop rotation, which would all greatly influence the outcome of the Han dynasty. One major achievement during the Han Dynasty's rule was the development of the Silk Road. The Silk Road would create cultural diffusion between China and Europe. Also, the Silk Road trade would introduce new foods, materials and much more that was not accessible to them before.
