Raoul Dufy was a french painter born in 1877 in Le Havre. Growing up he developed a style of painting most related to Fauvism,taken from Impressionism, that had strong colors and emphasized qualities.
Dufy was influenced mainly by Van Gogh and Gauguin for their memorizing paintings.He remained stuck to many themes such as racecourses, regattas, his blue studio, nudes, and beach scenes. Focuses on broad brushstrokes and bright colors in his paintings.
