The even, similar colors used in the artwork create the unity of the piece. The viewer is able to really see the blending of the colors and how it is used to create an even, connected piece of artwork
This displays contrast because of the ripples of the water. The viewer is able to tell that one part of the ocean is farther away than the other. The water is darker in one area and lighter in another
This is very exaggerated and has a vast amount of color and vibrant texture. The white space increases the exaggeration. The colors are very bright and obnoxious which furthers the exaggeration.
