Line in Art

This photo uses leading lines to pull us into the image. It is also controversial. It has been suggested that it was staged.
With the word "line" in the title, this painting uses line to isolate the figures and to tether them to the frame. Notice how the line of waves lead from the bottom left to the figures in the center.
