Berthe morisot

By: Britney Laughlin

This is a portrait of Berthe Morisot by Edouard Manet. Morisot was born in Bourges, France in the year 1841. She was an impressionist painter. When she was a young girl she started painting. She was influenced by Godfather who painted. Morisot used light colors, and often painted flowers, landscapes, and yopung girls.
I can tell this is Berthe's painting because she used light colors. Also, her paintings where done of young girls.
You can point out this is Morisot's painting, since it is of a girl in a field of flowers. Another fact that she painted this is because the paints are light colored.
This painting is obviously by Berthe Morisot. We can definitely tell this is because light colors are used. Also, much details are shown. She very often painted of young girls which can be found in the pictures.
The "At the Edge of the Forest" can be grouped as Morisot's work because once again the painting uses light colored paint. It shows great detail behind a young girl and mother in front of a fores, which were both used in her paintings.
