ART OF ANCIENT EGYPT

This is a relief from the tomb of Horemheb dated from between 1333 BC- 1319 BC. It is a relief carved from stone and contains many stylistic elements one would expect from Egyptian art. The most important person in the relief is of course the biggest character, Horemheb who was a pharoah of ancient Egypt. He is seen surrounded by servants and he himself is lavished with jewlery and necklaces all showing his superiority and even godliness also known as the hierachical scale.
