Christianity &Greek ,and Roman mythology;  Similarities and differences.

This gallery is going to represent how similar their religions are to each other, and how most of their beliefs differ from each other as well. And you will get to know the Gods and Goddesses from the Odyssey, and what kinds of certain things they were taught differently then what we were taught or if we did have any beliefs what so ever.

This piece shows people who are Christian follow the principles of the Bible believe the stories told in the Bible itself. The same can be said about Greek and Roman mythology stories told by many.
In this piece the Gods and Goddesses that they think controlled the universe can be looked as stories that are obviously fiction. And most of the biblical stories are about very important events.
Heaven & Olympus where believed to have prophecies that are very similar to one another. Heaven can be referred as the kingdom of God, the place where the will of god will be done and far from earth.
While Mount Olympus was considered for only one's that were worthy enough to reside and that would be the twelve most important ruling Gods and Goddesses of ancient Greece, who were know as Olympians.
This piece shows where exactly the 12 Gods & Goddesses that reside on Mount Olympus; Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes, and Dionysus.
Addition to those 12 are basically the sidekicks, or hosts of the minor Gods and Goddesses-such as Helios and the mystical Muses-as well as many mythological creatures-such as the Cerberus, Minotaur.
But in this piece the Odyssey shows the well known Gods & Goddesses are not perfect. They do share the same human trait of making any sort of mistake they have made such as the same as a simple human.
This piece representing the Bibles say in that God is perfect, unlike the Greek Gods, God always acts with perfect fairness and justice. And one of the titles is that of a judge, and fair judgement .
This piece represents Greek Mythology, the only hope we have for a long and happy life on earth is to live a heroic life, to offer many sacrifices and loyalty to the Gods as the son of Zeus; Hercules.
This piece shows how the Bible teaches nothing of how salvation works rather, to stand in God's good graces on Judgement Day. As tradition holds that Jesus died on the cross for our sins to be clean.
