Feel Romanticism

Travel through time of the Romantic Era and let the visual depictions take you away. Feel the nostalgic themes of an environment loss to progress and other American genres, the simplicity that turns the ordinary into extraordinary. Let the artwork take you to a blissful place, a few were able to call a reality.                                                                                         ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿

This artwork caught my eye specifically because of the colors used in the image. The green trees reflecting on to the water with purple skies compliment each other. Relaxation seeps through the art.
In this artwork you can interpret a harsh angry sea and a fiery setting sun. When gazing into the artwork, I noticed dream-like colors and the impossibilities that the sun and ocean would seen this way in reality. It makes me feel envious and wish I lived in a world that was capable of this beauty.
Purple mountains and clouds that resemble a fairy world, with trees and greenery. I notice a lot that purple and green are color schemes used for a lot of romantic art, and this one surely captured the dream-like essence of a nostalgic land that loss its success to progress.
My favorite thing about this artwork is the two palm trees and light blue water. An interesting fact I found was that the Chapultpec castle is actually a real place. When I look at this artwork I feel like I would incredibly enjoy being in this area.
This piece is my absolute favorite. If I could be anywhere on earth I wish this to be my reality. The greenery makes me feel like I can breathe and relax. The bridge symbolizes joy and fun times, to me, because the first thing I vision is jumping and playing to get across it to paradise on the other side.
The main color in this photograph is orange. Orange represents a setting sun, which depicts a warm loving happiness emotion overall. The water makes it seem like paradise.
I chose to believe the native american in this photo is praising the greater gods for a beautiful land we called ours. A vesper is the sunset evening prayer.
The bright colors of all the flowers represent happiness, but with a dull background tone it down to a more formal depiction. Classy, and beautiful.
The bright flowers are truly brought to their destiny in capturing true essence of beauty in this artwork, especially due to the black background. It makes the flowers pop and show their true beauty.
I like this spooky photo. To me it represents grave diggers that dug up dead bodies to find precious items that were buried with them. It depicts an scary tone which shows the true evilness behind these "Money Diggers".
I like this photo because it shows a headless horseman chasing another on a horse into the woods. It's a full moon, and seems like a storm is coming foreshadowing that the storm is as well coming for the man being chased.
The bright fluffy snow, and bright cloudy weather reminds me of cold non stressful times where you can take in air and feel good, cozy, and warm by the fire.
I chose this artwork because of the purple tint of the clouds and the water. Everything is really dull and grey showing that life at the harbor wasn't fun and games.
I chose this artwork to show luminism because you can see the brush strokes of the light and pink clouds. This can be considered true reality, on farm land, with bright pink clouds, and bright green grass.
I chose this portrait because it was so different than the rest. It truly does not depict anything except many different cultures.
I chose this portrait of the Native American due to the wisdom shown in his posture and confident stare into the souls of others.
