The Antiphonal shows a great deal of craftsmanship, a reflection of the high worship held for the lord. The art alone can allow those without knowledge of the language to assume the song is of prayer.
Christ here is shown in a grand garb similar to the kings of the time, holding the Holy Bible, and covered in numerous crosses as a symbol of his holiness and reminder for his sacrifice.
The Icon of Triptych seems to display the perfect kingdom of Heaven as ruled by a central figure,a symbol of the trinity of the Lord, the Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Humanity seems to be in disarray.
