The Power

The Epic of Gilgamesh is the story, the song that was being written about Gilgamesh - The King of Uruk in Babylonia around 2700 BC. The real King with Power.

Gilgamesh is a perfect man, like Hercules, Gilgamesh is mixed between god and human what give them the most powerful and undefeated. "Gilgamesh the tall, magnificent and terrible, who opened passes in the mountains, who dug wells on the slopes of the uplands, and crossed the ocean, the wide sea to the sunrise;" (Tablet I,p2)
Gilgamesh's body is giant which can compare to Gods: "A tripple cubit was his foot, half a rod his leg. six cubits was his stride,... When he grew tall his beauty was consummate, by earthly standards he was most handsome." (tablet I, p3)
With his friend, Enkidu, Gilgamesh shows his power by go into the Forest of Cedar to slay Humbaba.
By his power, Gilgamesh cut down Humbaba's head and cut off the biggest tree of the Forest of Cedar to prove of his victory. "By your strength alone you slew the guardian, what can bring you dishnour? Lay low the Forest of Ceadar" (Tablet VI, p47)
