The Lands and sights of japan - By Jair Milton

This gallery shows my love of Japanese paintings from the 1800s to the late 1900s. Since getting into Art I have loved looking at these kinds of paintings. I have always loved pictures involving nature but these are among the best that I have recently seen and are the ones i feel are presentable. 

This is a painting called the Twelve Views of Japan "Mt. Hodaka" by Yoshida Hiroshi. It shows a lake in the foreground with a couple trees on the sides and back with a mountain in the background.
This is Futami-ga-ura in Ise, from the Views of Famous Sites of Japan by Kobayashi Kiyochika. It is a painting of a famous site in Japan we;re Ise shrine resides and we;re pilgrims cleanse themselves.
Arashiyama from the Views of Famous Sites by Kobayashi Kiyochika. It is a nationally designated History site and is known as a place of scenic beauty that tourists regularly visit.
Kujukushima Island , Shimabara, from series the Selection of scenes of Japan. The island are another famous site from Japan that I felt needed to be included into my personal gallery.
This is the Kano Isenin Naganobu , Twelve Famous Places in Japan. This one I don't have much information on but its something that I felt needed to be in the gallery due to how it captures your eye.
This is the Old Rakan Temple at Yabakei, from the Views of Famous Sites of Japan. It was a temple that held over 3000 Budda Statues but was sadly destroyed by a fire in the mid 1900s.
Itsukushima Shrine, the Views of Famous Sites of Japan by Kobayashi Kiyochika. It is one of the most famous sites in the world and is regarded as a national treasure by the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Oyashirazu Beach , from the series views of Famous Sites of Japan. It is a tourist site that many from all over the world each year to see its beautiful beach which looks it bests on a sunny day.
This is Mt. Fuji by Yokoyama Taikan. This is a Japanese Impression of Mt. Fuji that shows the very peak of the mountain during an extremely cloudy day with a red sun in the background.
This is the Monkey Bridge from the views of Famous Japan sites by Kobayashi Kiyochika. It is regarded as an extremely important place we;re many battles took place on it and has been rebuilt often.
