Pierre-Auguste Renoir was born February 25th, 1841 in Limoges, France. He helped create impressionism in the art culture.

In this painting, this is a prime example of what could be Renoir's early works. Renoir sketched a lot in the beginning of his art career. He was also very passionate about painting woman.
This is yet another beautiful piece of art by Renoir. This is also an example of Renoir's middle age works. More bright colors were added, and black and bolder lines were made to create contrast.
As he eventually ended his art career in his advanced years, he painted his usual photos of woman, and daily life. However, he was less concerned with lines, and used thin brush strokes. This created a more sketchy approach.
Although this is not a piece of work by Renoir, it was made by Renoir's biggest influence, and that is Manet. Their artwork can look very much alike.
