hi

I chose this piece because I love the design. The colors are so bold even though the carpet has faded. I think it is amazing how such intricate designs cane be incorporated into a carpet. I think this shows the significance of carpets in Egypt because they were such master pieces . This reminds me of Himalayan art because there is a lot of symmetry that is involved.
I chose this piece because i feel that it really reminds us of our childhood, due to the innocence of this painting. Th e read on the left side looks like a balloon that is simply carrying the rabbit. I think that is so ute and adorable. The blue on the other hand is also really enjoyable, I think the blue represent s something different forma balloon, but I don't know what. The pig, however in China represented something really important to their culture. The pig seems to be following some path of some sorts.
I chose this photograph because I believe it really captures the reality if this man. The scene of this photograph is a destroyed home in which I imagine. This hard scene really portrays this man as a surviver and a strong role model. It seems that this man has come over this disaster and has come to a acceptance of it. I think we all have a lot to learn from this young man.

I chose this ring because I wish it was my own. When I first saw this I thought of the Pirates of the Carabein. The obvious skull represents death as i would imagine. This ring is a memorial ring which also relates to death. wonder what the white in the ring is made from as well as the black..
I chose this pendant because it is so mysterious. There is so much being conveyed in this piece not just through the words but through the shape. The shape of a heart is so universal and meaningful . Hearts are almost always identified with love, I think this is amazing because something so simple can represent so much.
