This shows people from a small town that are struggling to survive. Few stand up, but most lay on the ground either dead or depressed. Some stand up to gather themselves yet there's no where to go.
This soldier is trying to rebuild this useless house. It is clearly destroyed, yet he wants to make it new by himself at that. The soldier has a content and determined face so he won't give up soon.
A dominant man is alone and obviously struggles to make a living by himself. Behind him there's nothing not a meal nor civilization, not to mention his bare skin. It's clear he chose to be an outcast
This family is united, everyone has smiles on their faces and are surrounding a plaque showing success and unity. In this picture they all look proud and believe that they as a whole are successful.
