Death as a Cycle

Death is a concept that has always fascinated me, and many artists throughout the ages. But death is usually portrayed as a great tragedy, or an act of martyrdom. In this collection, I tried to look for pieces that focus on death as part of a natural cycle, not necessarily something to be feared. These pieces focus on everything from the cycle of live, to mourning, to reincarnation, and represent a variety of aesthetic styles and periods in time.
