Abstract art: The understood beauty.

Abstract art is defined as art that does not seek to represent external reality. Meaning, the pieces are not meant to show you what is obvious. One must look deeper into what is placed before them to understand what he is seeing.

In this image by Robert Delaunay, obviously, is a nude woman reading. Although this information is given in the title, this piece is easily read.
In this piece by the same artist, however, is less more abstract. Still it is not unreadable.
as a viewer I only see the Eiffel Tower as the focus point. However, there seems to be a locomotive in the bottom right corner. Given the title, the artist is clearly taking a unrealistic view.
