Color Schemes

The color scheme is analogous colors. Redon used blue, blue-green and green in the water and orange, orange-yellow and yellow in the fog. The mood is calmness with impending excitement.
Martin used cool colors, such as the blue and violet in the ocean, to convey a mood of storminess and anger.
Smith used warm colors on the walls and in the window to convey a mood of happiness and comfort.
Kennedy used complementary colors, such as pairing orange and blue or blue-green and red-orange, to inspire a mood of drama and showiness.
Scully used a triadic color scheme, using red, blue and yellow, to convey a mood of confusion. The red is the dominant or "mother" color.
Porter used a monochromatic color scheme, using shades and tints of green. This conveyed an overall mood of peace.
