The fragment of a Grave Stele for Brother and Sister (the third picture) belonged to an aristocratic Athenian family of the Alkmeonidai in which the man's son and daughter were erected. The detail in the fragment of the almond shaped eyes and the hair show that it was made by one of the finest sculptors of late Archaic Athens.
