Over the rainbow, onto the canvas.
Paintings with a unique use of color.
This artist used a beautiful, bold tint of blue with a calm red. The use of these two strong colors immediately sets them apart making the tree feel like its closer to us.
I loved this piece because the use of color was outstanding in my opinion. If you look closely, you can see a bunch of tiny brush strokes with a vast variety of colors.
This painting jumped out at me. Not only does the artist use groovy, bright colors, he also uses lines to form a city scape. The use of color and perspective makes us feel like we're above the city.
This is a simple painting, but the colors blue and yellow look so great together. This is another example of how a simple painting can go a long way with the proper use of color.
Claude Monet is one of my favorite artists due to the way he uses colors. The brush strokes perfectly blends the colors forming an almost realistic scene.
