the world wars had had one of the biggest impacts on Canadian identity since Canada was created. Since at during the wars Canadian troops were usually placed with british battalions. Until Vimy Ridge where Canadian troops were the only ones who could get through the german lines. The canadians were the ones who took vimy ridge allowing the other armies of the allies to take France back. Which is why i chose these to honour those troops.
