Sculptures Clare 209 Sum2

In this gallery we house our collection of various sculptures. These six pieces range from 460 B.C. all the way up to 1912. My favorite piece in the collection is Bust of a Youth by Francesco Mochi.

I really found this krater to be interesting. The use of red technique really brings out the beauty of the piece.
When looking at this sculpture, I am impressed by the little details on the piece and how long that it has been able to survive.
I really intrigued by this piece of artwork. I am amazed by the level of intricate detail especially the detail of the curls of hair.
While looking at this clock, you cannot help but be impressed by the intricate designs found all over. Each time you view this clock you can notice a new detail.
While looking at this sculpture of Lafayette I was shocked by the level of detail on the coat and shirt of the soldier. It amazes me that this can be done out of a single piece of porcelain.
I am really found of the detail in this piece. I also am impressed by the ability of Troubetzkoy to be able to carve this entire piece and only have it supported by the left leg.
