Most street artist make these pieces just because they love art itself. Some pieces have more meaning then others, but overall they all have a message for you to understand.

Clown, 2 Sick bastards, 2011, From the collection of: Bogotá Street Art
In this picture the artist depicts Ronald McDonald and other McDonald’s characters in black and white to represent the evil in the fast food restaurant industry. He also tosses is green to give it a sense of grime and sliminess. The reason why the painting is viewed as evil is because all the fast food restaurants are killing so many people in our society.

For years now, the depiction of a raven in art has often been used to signify death, especially with the color black which often creates a grim sense of darkness. The artist of the piece wanted to show people that there is an end to this thing we call life.
POW! WOW! Hawaii 2013 - Erik Otto Mural, Erik Otto, 2013/2014, From the collection of: POW! WOW! Hawaii
This is personally one of my favorites pieces. Hawaii has a lot of spectacular artwork, this one is definitely not left out. Artist Erik Otto chose vibrant colors for the sun and the buildings, and a darker color for the ocean to try and represent the flooding of this planet.

POW! WOW! Hawaii 2012 - Aloooooooha Mural, 123Klan, 2012/2015, From the collection of: POW! WOW! Hawaii
Aloha! it doesn't get simpler than that. Meaning hello and goodbye, the colors within this piece vary from purple to yellow to green. These colors show how you can go from one point to another without changing the purpose of your journey. 123 khan truly outdid themselves with this piece from the design of font, to the color and texture of it.
POW! WOW! Hawaii 2013 - Johann Schuller Mural, Nychos, 2013/2014, From the collection of: POW! WOW! Hawaii
This piece by Nychos has a nice meaning behind it. It is essentially a memorial for Johann Schuller. In it, it is representing your body. Once you are done in this world nothing but your soul is going with you. The color of the spirit is representing a heavenly vibe.
