Panathenaic amphora, Greek, Attic, in the manner of the Berlin Painter, -0500/-0490, From the collection of: Princeton University Art Museum
I have always found Roman pots beautiful, they always have an interesting story to tell. These pots are made out of clay, and they use a red fabric, then cover it with black slip rather then paint.
Bacchanalian Group, Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory, 1770, From the collection of: Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens
The Bacchae is one of my favorite plays, and I have always been a fan of the Bacchanalians. This small sculpture shows what they used to look like, and they lived a happy and free lifestyle.
Laocoon, 1735 - 1740, From the collection of: Museo Poldi Pezzoli
This sculpture is also based on a Greek myth. This is a scene of Laocoon and his sons being killed by a snake. The snake was sent by the goddess Athena.
Balance, Anonymous Italian, wrought iron: 16th century; turtle base: seond half of the 17th century - wrought iron: 16th century; turtle base: seond half of the 17th century, From the collection of: Bagatti Valsecchi Museum
This wrought iron turtle is very creative. I love the fact that all of the iron that has been placed into this piece has been retrieved from different centuries.
Vase, Johann Lötz Witwe Glassworks, 1902/1902, From the collection of: Museum of Decorative Arts In Prague
I absolutely fell in love with this vase as soon as I saw it! I love the colors the look, all of the different patterns, it looks touchable. I'm really curious to see if the lines are textured.
Graffiti Collectif 2013 Tribute to Kijno, 9eme Concept, 2013/2013, From the collection of: 9eme Concept
I love this idea, the artist of this graffiti has only done the four main colors and the black silhouettes. Then people were invited to add on to the image with chalk.
The birth of Venus, Sandro Botticelli, 1483 - 1485, From the collection of: Uffizi Gallery
I'm a huge fan of Greek mythology, if you haven't figured that out yet. This is the story of Venus's birth. With the castration of Saturn, his genitals fell into the ocean. Then out came Venus.
A wet day on a wild coast, William Hodgkins (artist), 1894, From the collection of: Te Papa
I have always been a huge fan of water color painting. I love this image, it reminds me of my favorite place in the whole wide world, Acadia Maine.
American Landscape, Edward Hopper, 1920, From the collection of: Whitney Museum of American Art
This is an etching of a farmland back in the 20's. However, it looks much like my hometown today, nothing but farmland, and cows.
Fauna, Ene Ene, Guache, 2013, From the collection of: Bogotá Street Art
I have always loved walking down a street to look at all of the graffiti. I love all of the colors and smooth lines in this one. I also love the detailing in the hummingbirds.
Amy Campbell with Wattle, Archibald James Campbell, 1921 - 1922, From the collection of: Museums Victoria
I really like black and white photographs, they always bring out so much more details.
Beijing—Wangfujing II, Wan Chi Chung, Simon, 2008, From the collection of: Hong Kong Heritage Museum
I really like this photo, to me it looks like someone has taken this photograph through a window towards a crowded area in Beijing. Its a very creative idea.
A Cavern in an Iceberg; Scott's Last Expedition, The British Antarctic Expedition, Ponting, Herbert George, 1910 (photographed) - 1910, From the collection of: The Victoria and Albert Museum
I love this photo just because its from Scotland, and that's where my family came from. It's a very incredible shot with all of the darkness and lighting, than a beautiful landscape.
Composition – glass and ball (Still Life with a Ball), Jaromír Funke, 1923, From the collection of: Olomouc Museum of Art
This photograph is very creative, it almost looks like that their are two balls in the picture. However, their is only one, and the other is just a reflection. This picture tricks the eye.
Central, Choy Yuk Wai, John, 2004, From the collection of: Hong Kong Heritage Museum
This picture makes me laugh, because my grandmother is afraid of tunnels. Every time we drive threw one, she screams like a little girl, it's very comical.
