I have always been attracted to things that looked in a way sort of lonely and had something that made you look at it and wonder why they made that when the could have done this? Strange and unique. For example Under The Yoke has these dark values that  complement with the "mood" and the composition of the people seem to balance the image although my eyes first view is the girl. The Still Life with Golden Bream by Francisco de Goya, I love the contrast he used with the background and fish. Although the colors are not as vibrant as others, i think that some of the darker colors are beautiful. I have a huge thing for detail and realism.
