The reader

The work is dedicated to "The Year of Literature" in Russia and can be called "Enlightenment". The picture tells us that there is magic in books and as you read you take flight into new amazing worlds.

A boy is sitting on the branch which is a part of a glowing ball, consisting of books that emit light. The authors illustrated craving for reading, which happens with those who are absorbed in incredible stories about adventures, pirates, big love... And lantern light is used as a metaphor of the light of knowledge. After all, books shine brighter than street lamps.
