This small work of art — most likely created during an outdoor session in Kazimierz Dolny — captures the viewer’s attention with its luminosity. The already mature artist had an affinity for French painting at the time, which is also demonstrated by the lighter colour range. Jasiński depicted a section of an impoverished district with its wooden buildings. Two small silhouettes of women sitting in front of a house hint at the everyday nature of this situation.
