This vibrant rabbit and eagle tureen was created, produced and sculpted by Vusi Ntshalintshali (b.1973) and painted by Zinhle Nene (b.1978). Ardmore ceramic art is famous for its creations by ordinary women and men, largely suffering from HIV and Aids. The Ardmore studio was founded in 1985 by Zimbabwean-born ceramic artist Fée Halsted. It was started on the Ardmore farm, at the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains.
