This is a round bottle, with an exaggerated mouth, straight neck, and wide shoulder. The bottle tapers towards the base and has a round foot. Lug handles are on either side of the bottle, and two holes are provided in the round foot, on the same vertical axis as the lug handles. The bottle is made of beige pottery. The neck and foot of the bottle are painted with brown paint, while the body of the bottle is painted in five sections, each with a different pattern. The fourth pattern is lotus petals and the fifth pattern is scroll grass. The third pattern features a background of turtle shells and two kaiguang frames, which, according to Buddhist belief, give the images a divine essence. Within each frame is a peony flower. There are cracks on the rim of the mouth and the shoulder.
