  • About Creator: Leonilson Arcanjo de Holanda, also known as Galeguinho, began visiting João das Alagoas' workshop at the age of nine, at the request of his father, who wanted him to occupy his time with an artistic activity. Like his studio mates, his work has already been exhibited in galleries in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Recife. He usually produces miniatures of saints, rural workers and retreatants. But his best-known works are the miniature lapinhas, delicately sculpted with a wealth of detail.
