The ashes of George and Elizabeth Cadbury are buried at the Friends' Meeting House in Bournville. Cadbury was instrumental in making improvements to the working and living conditions of employees at his family's cocoa and chocolate manufacturing firm. The Meeting House was built in 1905 to designs by W Alexander Harvey.
