A Dutch Delft De Porceleyne Fles plate designed by J Jansen and date stamped 1917. The plate imitates early Japanese Imari and was an experimental design by Jansen. This new designs only lasted from 1910 to about 1925 when it was found that the tin glaze they used was poisonous.
